We're jumping for joy! Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary was voted Best Place to See Aquatic Life in USA Today's latest 10-Best Reader's Choice travel awards contest. The sanctuary's popularity as a world-renowned whale watching site generated support from a wide ranging voting public.  K-12 Marine Art Contest Underway, Exhibit of Past Winners at Cape Cod National Seashore
The 2016 Marine Art Contest for students in grades K-12 is now underway. Click here to get a brochure about the contest. The theme is Exploring the Diversity of Life in Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary. Winning art from the 2015 Marine Art Contest is on display at the Salt Pond Visitor Center at the Cape Cod National Seashore until May.

 Sanctuary Advisory Council
Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary is recruiting for the following seats on its Advisory Council: Business Industry (alternate); Mobile Gear Commercial Fishing (alternate); Recreational Fishing (alternate); Research (alternate); Whale Watch (alternate); and Youth (alternate non-voting).  47th Sanctuary Advisory Council Meeting
The Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary's 47th Advisory Council will meet at the NOAA Fisheries GARFO, Gloucester MA, on Wednesday June 1st, 9:30am-3:00pm. The public is invited to attend. Click here for the Agenda.
