The research is being led by Dr. David Wiley, research coordinator for the sanctuary and Michael Thompson sanctuary GIS Specialist, in collaboration with Linda Welch and Christa DeRaspe, US Fish and Wildlife Service seabird specialists at the Maine Coastal Islands National Wildlife Refuge, Andrew Allyn, PhD candidate at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Dr. Robert Ronconi, Postdoctoral Researcher, Dept. of Biology, Acadia University, and Dr. Les Kaufman Dept. of Biology Boston University. The project is being funded thanks to the Volgenau Foundation.
