If
so, we encourage you to explore the opportunities offered by NOAA's
Teacher at Sea program. The mission of the Teacher at Sea program
is to give teachers a clearer insight into our ocean planet and
a greater understanding of maritime work and studies, and to foster
an interdisciplinary educational experience that provides a unique
environment for learning and teaching.
The
Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary's maritime heritage
research cruises on the NOAA Ship Nancy Foster will have space
for a Teacher at Sea participant this summer.
Who May Apply
The Teacher at Sea Program accepts applications from currently
employed K-16 teachers.
