Adult Education
The
Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary’s adult education
and outreach goal is to increase public awareness and understanding
of the sanctuary and its resources while encouraging responsible
stewardship by targeting users who directly affect the sanctuary.
Adult education is done through classroom lectures and presentations,
as well as the production of brochures and multimedia to better
inform the community about the sanctuary and its research programs.
Sanctuary
staff work throughout the year keep the public abreast with the
latest sanctuary news and events.
